METATRADER 4 PLATFORM: HOW TO DOWNLOAD

Unfortunately, MetaTrader 4 download is not available on the Metaquotes website anymore. You have to do that from your broker. MetaTrader 4 download is also available in ChartsEmpire Resources center.

MetaTrader 4, also known as MT4, is an electronic trading platform widely used by online retail foreign exchange speculative traders. It was developed by MetaQuotes Software and released in 2005. The software is licensed to foreign exchange brokers who provide the software to their clients.

METATRADER 4 PLATFORM PC REQUIREMENTS

Operating System: Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10, Requires macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip or later.
Processor: minimum – Intel Celeron-based processor 1.7GHz, Intel Core i3 or equivalent, recommended- Intel Core i5 or higher
RAM: 512 MB RAM or higher
Storage: 500 MB or higher free drive space
Internet Connection: 1Mbps or higher

Well, whenever you plan to get a piece of hardware be it a laptop or desktop computer you need to consider the future use of other applications, so if you will be using such hardware for EAs or maybe for High-Frequency Trading (HFT) activities, graphics, or video production then it would be much better to invest in something powerful as long that you have the financial capability.

Therefore, take note that trading results are not in relation to the hardware that the trader is using. okay!
